Worden Genealogy/PCW

Your membership in the Worden Family Association now provides access to my database which includes images of the person sheets of the database created about fifteen years ago by Patricia C. Worden (PCW). It includes information about all Wordens (with the varied spellings) including those not known to be related to Peter I.

You are invited to browse by using either the Search Form, one of the Surname Indexes or ID# search form.

Here is the link to the database:

Thanks for your note! This is a work in progress. I have about 15,000
people just from Pat Worden’s database to put on yet. Then comes my own
database. Your ancestor will show up. I will check the information you sent
and make corrections and when your line does appear will you please let me
know all the things I am missing. My first goal is to get Pat’s material on
so for now I am leaving out a lot of details that are in my database but it
will all come. I am hoping our membership can fill in some blank areas by
    working together.

    Hello, Pat,

I’m glad to see the new databases up. However, I was not able to find my
ancestor, Isaac A Worden, b 1795, Wickham Parish, Queens, NB, Canada,
married Elizabeth Thorne. His father was Isaac Worden, b 1771 (you have him
b 1763 although his gravestone says he was born 1771) d. 2 Jan 1855 and his
    mother was Mary Carpenter.

    Isaac A Worden was my g g g grandfather. Isaac A>Isaac>Gabriel>Annie>Malcolm

Hope you can straighten this out. Hate to think I don’t really exist. 🙂

Someone pointed out to me that the PCW database shows a death date for her that is the same as her husband’s. Is this correct?

No it is not correct. I have had the same thing in my records but now looking at it I see it is incorrect (copied from PCW’s records). The book The Worthington Families of Medieval England by Philip Michael Worthington 1985 gives a record concerning Isobel for 1585 – so she lived past that date. I will make that correction in my records.
